What COVID-19 Means For You

Corporate Travel policies will respond, subject to each policy’s terms and conditions, to unforeseen events. However, most insurers’ have now confirmed that they are treating the Coronavirus Outbreak (COVID-19) as a known event (i.e. not unforeseen), variously from dates on or about 1 March 2020. Therefore a claim for cancellation/loss of deposits as a result of COVID-19 for travel booked after their advised date would not be considered unforeseen and would not be considered a valid claim under the policy.
