Real Understanding: Health Insurance vs Life Insurance

Posted on: Thursday, 29 August 2019.

In the case of an emergency or accident, health insurance and life insurance may cover different associated costs.

Health insurance is designed to cover the cost of your expenses directly related to healthcare, for example hospital fees, anaesthetists, some medications or healthcare costs associated with emergency requirements.

Life insurance, on the other hand, may help cover financial costs for your family in the event of your passing. Many policies also provide the freedom of a lump sum payment in the case of a critical illness, or total permanent disability.

Every policy is different. If you have an enquiry about your insurance requirements, please get in touch with your local Country Wide Insurance Broker.
